full screan game?

hey guys just ran dirt 2 for the first time from steam and the game is not full screen i have set the res to the same as my screen and i have even clicked maximaze and it still is not full screen the taskbar and thing at the top is still there? how do i make it fullscreen?

when in game have you tried ALT+ENTER this should maximise the game from the window to full screen
