Full screen apps on dual screens?

Looked into this around 6 months ago as I really want extra screen space while in-game.

Any news/hardware that prevents the app minimising (excluding running it in a window) when you click onto the other screen?

you have to come off the game (cursor) anyway to use the extra screen so its a bit pointless anyway i guess this is why there isnt a way to do it.

buy a cheap a$$ pc and hook it up to the 2nd monitor and use it for msn or whaterver

or use window mode for games which is a bit of annying but it works
