Full screen game...No signal to TV

Good morning all! I'm after some advise regarding a strange issue.
First up system spec:
Win 7 64bit pro
2500k
16gb
Crossfire 7950's
Cat latest drivers
So the prob seems to be when I output to TV soon as I go full screen the signal drops to the TV, if I drop back to desktop signal restored.
I have tried a few different HDMI cables and different sockets and suck like but the only thing that seems to cure this issue is if a disable crossfire obviously I dont want to do this.

so the game works on single card, but you lose signal in crossfire?
have you tried on on both cards individually?

also, what game? what resolution is the game set to?
 
Yep single card full screen is fine crossfire no signal, strange as it works on my monitor which is also HDMI but not the TV.
It happens in every game I have tried grid, metro, battlefield, guildwars 2 and many more.
