Fully Integrated Recorder

Hi Everyone,

My parents are looking to replace all the annoying boxes under the telly as currently we have -

Freeview
Sky Digibox (for freesat)
VCR
DVD

Ideally i'm looking for a box which has 2x sat and 2x freeview tuners, plus DVD player, harddriver recorder and all in HD!

Does such a box exist?

We're currently looking at a Freeview HDD recorder with DVD player, and a seperate Freesat HD HDD recorder, so suggestions on those would be welcome too.

Short answer is no, you'll definitely have to remove the VCR requirement to get anywhere close.

There isn't one? Unless you mean the PVR type stuff, we have no need to play back or record VHS anymore

If you want Freesat as opposed to generic FTA satellite then you're pretty much limited to the Humax Foxsat-HDR,

I saw that today, and really i meant just generic FTA rather than 'freesat'

I don't have a suggestion for the Freeview side of things. Would have thought a nice Panasonic HDD/Freeview/DVD recorder with HDMI output would do the trick there.

I also saw that today! That seems to be the way to go, unless i can convince them to get one of the new freesat integrated TVs and only be able to record on DVB-T.
