Yes I know that is what is supposed to separate The Master Race from console plebs, but I simply don't have the time or energy these days to sink into learning a full keyboard worth of controls for what is essentially a couple of hours a week worth of gaming.

So what games can easily be dipped in/out of without a learning curve steep enough to put you off for life?

What sort of genres do you like playing and what wouldn't you consider? Have you got any examples of what you've enjoyed most recently that meets your requirements?

I'll consider anything, although I tend not to go in for all this wizards, orks and fairy tale bull****.

Thanks, that's a decent little list.

I think the games I've enjoyed most have been the ones with some aspect of free roaming where if I get bored or want to take a break from the main quests their is other stuff to do like;

New Vegas (although not keen on Fallout 3 and haven't spend much time on 4 either)
GTA 5
Far Cry 3
Dying Light
Ghost Recon Wildlands
Just Cause 2 & 3

I used to be heavily into driving games but these days the level of immersion is so in depth that the actual driving is almost inconsequential, I simply don't have the attention span or time for it any more. I have Project cars and Project Cars 2 but barely touched them.

I also have the last Assassins Creed game I've not even installed yet, I've not played any of this franchise but it must have appealed when I chose it.

Thanks.

I've had a look at a few and will maybe pick a couple up, nothing jumps out at me on first view though.

Decided to have a look at some games I already own and haven't played/very low hours and see if I can get into some of them. I have some with literally minutes played on them :o

OP doesn't mean it in the traditional sense. More games that you can dip in and out of without completely losing track of what's going on or losing all track of the controls (so I'd guess no huge metroidvania's like Hollow Knight or complex RPG's) -

This.

Doesn't have to be chilled out or no action, but more something that doesn't have a macro for every key on the board that has to be become second nature or get insta gibbed. Basically anything that doesn't require that you live on it 8 hours a day just so you can enjoy it.
