Morning all, I tried Blur last night with the misses. It was pants. Not a fan, so I've reinstalled Sonic (the racing one). We tried Full Mojo Rampage, which solo is fun. But the 2nd player simply gets a ghost character which is boring.

We have Lego Harry Potter, which we started and is fun. And also all the other Lego titles. Portal 2 is a maybe, I've played and finished it. Loved it, but my partner isn't much of a fan for fps's with a controller.

We both like RPG's, so character customisation, upgrading, skills, loot etc is always a bonus.

We both have wireless 360 controllers fyi and it's played on a 50" plasma, not at the desk.

So, any input? I know there is a site which lists all the games that are local coop here:

But, just from personal experience. Thoughts?

Not exactly what you're looking for but Jamestown, PixelJunk Monsters, PJ Shooter are all awesome local coop games.

Secret of Grindea can be played local with some tweaking and is a great SNES-style (think Secret of Mana but with a better combat system) RPG. It's still in early access but there's a lot of content there already.

Gauntlet is pretty good fun locally. I've only played it briefly since a major update, so not sure on what the current progression system is, but there is some of that.

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime looks a really interesting co-op experience.

Octodad looks a bit of a laugh.

I forgot to mention that - it's an awesome game.

The original Dungeon Defenders still gets a lot of playtime for us, local co-op, excellent 3rd person tower defense game. We're not so keen on the sequel though.
