I'm just in the process of producing my own 404 etc.. messages and was wondering if anyone else had customised theirs.

hmmm not sure about that as i'd have just closed the page and then you have lost me. Although as theres nothing to you site at the moment i guess it doesn't mater

Not a very professional site either tbh, it is a very roughly hacked together install of phpBB

I just like the logo on the 404 error

I actually wish the site was more in the format of the error.

Have been busy re-designing though and the new install is looking HAWT!!! www.lolwtf.org is it's current temporary home

I'm just doing my error pages at the moment, but I can't get the background or text colours to work.. :confused:

I assume I need to allow the background file in the htaccess file, but I can't find out how to do that on Google.

The text colours I have absolutely no idea about..

Help me OcUK! Thanks in advance.

Edit: If I can get the background working I'll be able to get the rest of the template working = woot! Link to current plain and boring 404 error. :/

not sure what your trying to do, but it's just a normal page, no need for allowing background files in .htaccess

I'm trying to get a background image on the error page rather than the plain white background.

Although, thinking about it I might aswell just take the tamplate from my index and strip it down a bit.

you'd put the back ground image in the same way as any other page
