Please recommend me some funky cufflinks :)

I've been inspired by a guy at work with Tardis cufflinks that I need to stop being boring. My GF has found some Lego ones. I like cars, motorsport, technology and anything funky and cool. What cufflinks are there? Preferably not to expensive :).

Boom. 3 posts in and GD has delivered. Lol.

Magnolia, I already have brushed titanium, eye watteringly expensive cufflinks. I'm bored of being normal, I fancy being an asshat.

Thing is they look expensive because they look intricate - All good :p I've got a set of round ones myself. Did you know you can buy working movement ones too? They're about £30 a pair though and are hand winding. The static ones look more professional to me.

The winding ones look a bit naff, but I really like the static ones. I'd have to get a round set as I'd be forever straightening the squarer ones :p.

Found a set of Aperture Science ones which look great, although 99.9% of people will just think they are normal patterened cufflinks. And I've found some Tetris ones which are pretty funky :).

What is the purpose of a cufflink? Is it purely a fashion thing?

I think apart from formal occasions, I've never worn any. I certainly don't own any but I'm thinking maybe I should judging by this thread :p

I've never previously bothered, but I've recently moved jobs and regularly find myself in situations where my previous rolled up shirt sleeve and scuffed shoes look doesn't cut it. I'm in a small team of 5 consultants, and am the only one that doesn't currently wear double cuff shirts and cufflinks most days (when were on client site).

So I've started buying some decent shirts with double cuffs and hence the need for cufflinks.

I like these, but can't seem to find a UK seller :(

I'd carry cake around with me to give to anyone who recognised what they are :p
