Hey lads, i am usually a listener of the rap/hip hop style of music and want to try something different. I want to listen to some funky style music.

From the 80's or 90's, nothing older than that, thanks.

All recommendations will be listened to.

It depends on what you mean by funky - James Brown style of funky (although mostly he did start recording back in the 60s but he is the godfather of soul) or something different?

There are lots more but until you can narrow it down a bit more that is a selection to be going on with and it is a pretty mixed bag.

Won't it get a bit to old and slow? If you have any recommendations of the 60's + its cool mate. I like James Brown though and he was in the 60's so i guess i broke my own request.
