Funnel web spider or nah?

I didn't think house spiders make webs?

That said we used to get huge spiders in our old shed, would fall from the ceiling into the boxes so you got a nice surprise when you went to pick one up. :D

Never realised how big UK spiders could be until I saw them, still nothing like other countries.

Think I would have done the same thing, only prob is you have a new resident if you don't do anything about it :D
 
I don't know exactly what it is... but I can tell you that I would run screaming like a child if I looked up and saw that whilst rummaging through the garage.
 
I was just pulling the last of my shed apart and found a couple of massive tube web spiders, one male one female, sadly only one survived. Also found what i think was a false widow, but cant really tell. The net is full of photos of different looking spiders people are claiming are false widows. The 'false widow' did not survive, although it didnt look like it had big enough fangs to pierce my skin, where as the tube web spiders look like they could have easly nipped me.

I'm fine with spiders as long as they dont suddnly appear.
