Funny: EA Support

Quality. EA are horrendous for support and patches, and I feel all dirty knowing they are taking over other companies that were previously doing well :(

Good read, amazing what idiots they seem to be, but tbh most online support is like that.
Gigabyte were of no help when I asked about my gfx card, nor were Nvidia... Nor was the RMA section of a good retailer around here.

For example:

I say I've tried multiple drivers, they say to try ''new drivers''.
Or on the RMA thing: I tell them 3dmark is fine, and to test it in an actual game, they waste my time by telling me to wait while they test 3dmark05 for a bloody hour...
Or gigabyte:
I say the card is overheating and the fan does not speed up to prevent it, I get some guy that can barely speak English and make himself clear saying the fan speeds up and speeds down sometimes .

Any online/remote support is mostly utter rubbish ! The only good support is person to person when the 2 listen to each other...

That really is shockingly bad. Hope he goes ahead with that claim and wins.

Isn't 'Heofz' a member of this forum? Might be someone with the same name I guess.

Seems the digg article made the front page of digg earlier :D

Still top of the 'gaming' section on digg.

over 1100 diggs and counting

oh well, there wasnt really much more to say other than the final outcome, which wont be known for at least another week or so... by then the thread probably would've been spammed by other angry EA customers lol

as much as people dont like ea
i must say that i got skate for my 360 a while back
the videos wouldnt upload and i couldnt create an account
i emailed ea they mailed back within 30 minutes
sorted the problem out for me
and the guy put my video on the main page of the ea site for the day so i got enough reviews for an achievement.

so yeah - they might be pretty bad sometimes
but i personally couldnt knock their support
