Not necessarily hilarious, but certainly real - every single MOT that my old Seicento SX had, it got an advisory notice on a deteriorating front anti-roll bar bush.

It didn't have a front anti-roll bar.

Go figure.

I have a friend who used to get an mot advisory every year for a 'faded parking permit'. It was actually a parking sticking from Glastonbury Festival.

An Audi dealer said they were going to put an advisory on mine for not carrying spare oil.

I pointed out a) I do have spare oil in the boot and b) I am not driving a petrol 2.0L TFSi
