I used a genuine apple MagSafe charge via the type C port on the rear I/O

So over the last 3 ish month I’ve had 4 motherboards first was my lga1700 board that worked fine.

The problem started when I moved to am4 and a fresh install of windows. The charger works until I hit windows.
Am4 b450i aorus

X570s tomahawk same same…

And now with my b650e-f rog
Same charger works until I hit windows..

If I sit in bios for 10mins my phone will charge then I boot to windows and it just stops… what setting do I need to charge.
The charger used to work years ago on my B450 aorus

If I use a apple type C plug the charger works fine

Just tried to google this as I don't have the same setup, suggested fix in the 1st response:

lol my hero..
this is what worked

Windows 11:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Under Bluetooth & devices click “View more devices” and then scroll down and click “More devices and printers”
  3. Right click Apple MagSafe Charger and open properties
  4. Go to the Hardware tab.
  5. Select the HID-compatible-vendor-defined device (the first one usually works).
  6. Click Properties.
  7. Click Change settings (if applicable).
  8. Go to the Driver tab and Disable the device.
  9. Unplug and replug the MagSafe charger or AirPods.

Cool, yeah I was going to reply/edit to say wasn't sure what version of windows you were running. But good to be all sorted.
