Funny problem with apple keyboard

Right I ordered a apple keyboard for my pc, when I boot the machine up, the keyboard works but my mouse doesn't. If I boot up with my normal keyboard in then plug the apple keyboard in everything works fine. Any ideas ?

Is the 'normal' keyboard PS/2 and the apple keyboard USB?

Yes craig but I have tried a ps/2 converter, makes no difference.

have you connected the mouse to the back of the pc?? or have u connected it via the keyboard connection on the apple board? which ever one you have done try the other one
