Furniture/Room designing software (Basic)

Any ideas where i can get software so i can design the layout of my bedroom, measurements and so on so i know whether it all fits before i start moving things?

IKEA have a decent 3d planning tool don't know if it includes bedroom furniture

The Ikea one is ok, you can set your room dimensions etc. but the only furniture available is their own. You can always choose furniture with similar dimensions to your own though.

I've done this recently just using photoshop.

Just scale an image right and transform things to the right size.

Make a canvas the size of your room in feet, in inches so 12foot long room 12" canvas. Then measure up your stuff and whack it in!
