As per title, occasionally the fan spins up to max for no apparent reason. I can be in game or on the desktop. Restarting fixes it. It's rare too, probably happens about 2-4 times a week with pretty regular usage.
It appears to be a software issue as I dual boot W10 and Linux and I've only experienced this happening in Windows, although I do spend a little more time in Windows so I can't be 100% certain about that. The cooling is working properly, just happened as I was playing FarCry 4, didn't notice it for a couple of minutes as the noise was drowned out by the game. As soon as I noticed I checked the gpu temps - 32°C at 100% load
It's not a big deal, not happening often by any stretch as I said. Just wondering if anyone else had experienced it or found a solution?
