Fury X problem

Hi I have just got a Fury X, installed fine apart from when I install the catalyst drivers (15.15)

After rebooting the motherboard qcode shows 07, if I remove the drivers it reverts back to AA.

Was fine with my 980ti card

Motherboard is Asus X99-S, CPU Intel 5820K

Tried loading cmos defaults but no change, nothing is overclocked.

Any ideas?

Did you cleaned the nvidia drivers completely?
You can boot up to safe mode and run DDU if you haven't already.

Nvidia drivers are well known to be hard to remove fully and cause problems with AMD cards.

Thanks for the reply guys, just tried it by booting into safe mode and removed the Nvidia drivers, still code changes from AA to 07 as soon as the login screen appears, if I remove the drivers its fine (see pic), maybe a bug?

Same issue with a single card

Spoke to Hivizman (ROG forum),as I have the same on my M6E
after I installed my Fury.

He did explain to me on a different forum as to what causes it, but can't link

Sorry completely missed this - Basically nothing to fix as such.

This was what I was told

"What is happening is your motherboard is talking to the other components pre hand over.
It may be that your mobo vendor will release a bios update some time soon.
But like I said if you get to OS as per normal and game as per normal then all good."
