Fury X pump has died

Out of warranty, can't see them doing much. Best thing you can do is get an NZXT bracket and an AIO, or sell it as faulty.

Agreed with the above. I'm sure something would fit.

If not stick it on MM. Would be quite interested myself for my emulator rig.

4 months out of warranty, am I out of luck on this one or could I argue that it had been replaced twice for pump issues?

Bought from OCuk June 2015 .

Sales of Goods Act applies, as purchased prior to 30th September 2015 (since then it's Consumer Rights Act 2015).

You have a legitimate claim if the issue with the pump arose within the first 6 months of purchase:

If your claim is about a problem that arose within six months of buying the product, it's assumed that the problem was there on the day you received it. It's up to the retailer to prove that the goods were of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, or as described when it sold them.

For example, a retailer might try to prove this by showing that the problem was caused by an external factor, such as accidental damage.

You have up to six years (from when you purchased) to make a claim.

Experts' reports
After six months of ownership, it's up to you to prove that the problem was there when you received the product, even if it has taken until now to come to light.

So, you may need to prove that the fault was not down to ordinary wear and tear, or damage you caused, and that the product (or a component) should have lasted longer than it did.

To do this, you may need an expert's report, for example from an engineer or a mechanic.

Always try to keep the cost of any report proportionate to the value of the claim and, if you can, try to find an expert that you and the seller both agree has the necessary expertise.

On a personal note, if the pump/card had never given you any issues and then died out of warranty, I wouldn't be inclined to make a claim. But this is a different situation. All depends on when the issue with the pump arose, as above.

You can also attempt to negotiate with the retailer to come to an agreement, for example (just an example): they could offer to give you the NZXT bracket and suitable AIO that was suggested above. And then retailer could seek some compensation from the manufacturer if they wished.

Not fit for purpose mate. If I were you I'd get it sorted and either launch it as a working card or if you want to keep it get a proper AIO like a NZXT on it. I've got a Kraken 140mm AIO that had a 5yr warranty and is currently cooling my Vega 56 after doing time on my 290. It's still going strong.

Don't buy a Corsair cooler though. my H110 has been a noisy, gurgly POS from day one. It's still working but if it kills my 5820K I'll have a valid reason to upgrade to Ryzen.
