Josh Futturman, a janitor by day and a gamer by night, is recruited by mysterious visitors to travel through time to prevent the extinction of humanity.
At least it's self-mocking, even calling itself out for being a mix of the plot from "The Last Starfighter" and the nerdy throw-back to the 80's from "Ready Player One".
