People throw away perfectly good working CRTs nowadays. And they cost next to nothing on ebay.

Ok, so put 'about' the only TV you can get. Argos stock 1 model only, Empire direct 4 models only. I can't remember thet last time I saw one in a shop. The OP's poster comment that 'BR needs a special type of TV' made me wonder where he'd been the last 3 years!!
