Hi

In early 2017 i am gona go a littel crazy with a new pc that shall be my new gaming pc for ages to come.
And i am looking on this hardware ( see list below ) And i dont know what PSU i am gon abuy for this setup but
i can emagine i need over 9000 W !! joking..I need a 1000-1200 w PSU modular.

What brand should i go for. I have a seasonic 1000 W now but its at least 4 years old, so i wont reuse old hardware in this
new pc. I want it to be super sillent and modular and 1k W at least.

Then i have the following hardware

2 x SSD HDD ( maybe 3 if i buy 1 more )
2x IDE HDD
2 x 970 GTX Sli
1 x DVD/CD drive
+ Several coolers

Also what cpu cooler and case should i choose..
I like coolermasters cases.

*Remember the motherboard has som ekind of external sound box that takes up 1 DVD drive slot in front of the case.
So no "front doors" on the case.

Thx so far

Well, a 1000w psu is nuts given that everything is getting more power efficient.

Any one can spec up an expensive,PC, That's easy...just pick the most expensive parts...but if you're going to play game's on it you have to consider what you want. An 8 grand PC won't play game's any better than a 2 grand one.

Also, you want an IDE HDD.. I don't think they even exist any more, you'll want a SATA HDD, or with the kind of budget you're looking at, M.2 or SATA SSD.

Early next year new CPUs and mother boards will be coming out for both Intel and AMD, and we don't yet know how those perform, so any specific parts might change by the time you buy :)
