We have been busy working on several long term projects which will improve the power and scientific output of SETI@home. Most of our time over the past year has been applied to the task of building and releasing the next generation of SETI@home software using BOINC volunteer computing infrastructure. With this effort winding down, we will apply more resources to the following projects.

nice

SETI@home Enhanced
...

Multi-Beam Data Recorder
...

very nice

Near Time Persistency Checker
...

Astropulse

Needs trickles like cpdn imo.

Units too long.

An old SETI calssic WU used to take 14 hours when I first started

As long as progress is saved every 10 minutes or so I don't see a problem.

My biggest gripe with Rosetta was that it only saved every 10% of the WU and sometimes that 10% could take longer than the one hour default for timeslicing.
It's been sorted now though. :)

It looks like my single 2.8 Xeon with HT on is churning them out at about 24 - 27 hiours a result so that's OK. I just need to plug my crunchers network cable in and hope the servers are alive ;)

happy monday everyone
