Hey all.
Looking at finally upgrading from my old Q6600 build that I have had for a good few years.
I was looking at just going for a haswell build with ddr3 but then saw that a ddr4 build wouldnt be that much more. I am well out of date on motherboard preferences. I always used to go with gigabyte but am not overly fussed and would rather go with more bang for my buck.
I am salvaging my GFX out of my current build (GTX 670) and will upgrade it as and when I can.
I already have a phantom 410 case ready.

Hard drives I havent decided on yet. The main questions are the motherboard...is there a better option for roughly the same money and is it worth going the DDR4 route now. I doubt I will be upgrading the motherboard for ~3-4 years at least.
Oh the Ram am i right in thinking I can add another set of 2 sticks of 4...the same as I have?
Any thoughts!
