Purchased an average pc but would like to know what I can upgrade in the next few months

Lian li 011 Air case
Asus prime x470 pro
Ryzen 5 2600x
Antec 16gb ram 2400mhz
Rx 590 red dragon
256gb m. 2 nvme
9 rbg corsair Ml120 fans

Gaming is not a priority so I'm wondering if I should concentrate on updating cpu and ram as priority

Note. What ram can I actually upgrade to as the mobo is saying 3466 and the ryzen 5 2600x is saying less.

It might help if you tell us what your use case is, if it's not gaming, then what? :)

It's a good system for general usage otherwise, I can't see why you'd want to upgrade it.
 
Basically I use it mostly for plex. My old i7 950 is getting old so transcoding is becoming an issue.
It's probably overkill but once I upgrade anything that needs it I will not touch it for a year so want a little bit of future proofing. If you don't think it needs any great! But the antec 16gb 2400mhz seems a bit slow and some say that ryzen works better with around 3200mhz.
 
Have you actually got this PC yet and tested it yet? Or have you ordered it but not quite received and used it yourself yet? :p

For Plex that's plenty of CPU grunt, it doesn't really take advantage of higher RAM speeds.
