Considering they still haven't beat Gears IMO they will struggle.

but then again, it shows how good Killzone 2 is if MS are publicly comment on it.

I don't think unannounced exclusives would look as good as KZ2 atm. In fact, i think MS are starting to slightly struggle with exclusives ATM
 
Technically the 360 is approaching its limits now as most games are UT3 engine based and no-one is spending loads of money to make new engines. Even if they did create some new engine they still have the storage space issue of DVD9's if they up the textures & movie renders.They are probably talking about Alan Wake or Crytek's rumoured console games.

Alan Wake is announced so it won't be that.
 
Can't be talking about Alan Wake as that isn't unannounced, even then, i think that game is gonna be a major let down.

It should be a great game, only ever seen PC screenies and trailers so far but its one game im very interested in getting.
As for the article itself i cant see no other sites reporting this info, apart from those linking to this site, it seems a bit i know a bloke who works at MS and hes said etc. Not saying they wont do but its a bit of we have games that you dont know about that look better than KZ2, not a surprise that games out later will surpass GFX of earlier games. Sony have 2 games out this year that look better in some ways than KZ2 called Heavy Rain and Uncharted 2, Gow3 will also look far better than the previous trailers its called progression.

I hope it is a good game, but people have been saying it will be brilliant from a 15 minute non gameplay tech demo that didn't even have a story, and is barely getting one now.
 
Xbox 360 in improving graphics over time shocker. It's just inevitable that console graphics will gradually improve over time (within reason). At present i would go as far as saying that KZ2 currently holds the graphics crown, but this time next year i'd wager something on the 360 side will have snatched the title back.

If they mean gameplay, KZ2 hasn't really surpassed anything, it's just finally given PS3 owners a top notch online shooter. They took their bloody time though.

Dunno if it will, IMo the best looking game of last year was MGSIV
 
I have both systems with both KZ2 and GOW2 and for my money GOW2 is the better game with better graphics
