Futuremark are making a new benchmark tool.

We need a new Benchmark. Even Firestrike 4k is being destroyed be some rigs.

3dMarks benches should run at 3-5fps Max. I remember the Max Payne Benchmark, my rig weeped at that and thats how it should be. Maybe DX12 will inspire them to create a new one.
 
Nice find. Do you need VR hardware to run it or is it a PC system thing like Firestrike Ultra 4K was (can run it on non 4K monitor) ? (don't really understand the way it's written)
 
No idea about if hardware is needed, but tbh I would think it would require otherwise its just a GPU benchmark.

VR hardware is as important, if not more so than the system it runs on. Latency, tracking and refresh rates etc are all vital.
 
meh - 3D Marks lately have been kind of boring - miss the older ones 99-2001 that had cool music, some reminiscence of the old demo scene and 2003-2006 that had some hints of what we'd see in future games.
