Fuzzy screen, then turned off

Dunno where this should go, but was just copying a file to an external hard drive , all of a sudden the screen went weird, say a 10 pixel line were fine then 10 pixel line below were off to the right, this repeated down the screen. After about 10 seconds the laptop turned itself off

Dell Vostro 1500, Windows XP SP3

Any ideas?

Keeps happening for the past couple of days.

No, never fixed its only happened the once, if it done it again I was going to try a different video driver as I'm using a laptopvideo2go driver.
I regularly check temps and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.
