Hello. I started to overclock my fx 4100 but i think that i hit a wall. Now im 4.715ghz and vcore is 1.5v ant thats stable on prime95 temp 50-51celsius. NB/FSB 1840mhz, ram 1226mhz (1600mhz stock). Ewrything (cool&quiet, ...) disabled. I saw people get same overclocks on lower vcore. Could someone help me i want overclock to 5ghz or 4.8ghz. Motherboard is gigabyte ga990fx ud3, ram corsair xms3, psu chieftec 750w 80+.

edit. 4.715ghz crash after 20 min of prime95, now back to 4.6ghz

This psu is better then my old ocz zt750w. 1. chieftec is quieter then ocz. 2. dosnt have voltage jumps. 3. much more reliablie. (in first 2 weeks i changed 2 ocz psu's).

The old OCZ PSU's werent that decent compared to the modern ones which are made by CWT I think?

I'll wait till you get PSU problems and then complain about broken PC components before I say anything else...

CWT make modern chieftecs. I would suggest verifying what 750w chieftec it is before you decide it's fit for the bin.....

Cheiftecs aren't that bad, nor are OCZ's.
People sometimes say "THAT'S RUBBISH, GET RID!" When it's a brand they've never heard of.

I used some 800W Gold rated crazy European PSU once but it was a pretty stellar PSU.
