FX 4350

A 6 core will be better since they are around about the same price.

For £5 more you can get the AMD Piledriver FX-6 Six Core 6350 which can turbo to 4.2GHz or for £12 less you can get a AMD Piledriver FX-6 Six Core 6300 at 3.50GHz.

The clock speed on the 6300 is a little lower than the others but you can overclock these FX processors:)

its not a great chip for gaming.

On a low budget id advice the 6300.

What GPU will you pair it with?

I have a XFX HD 5830 for 3 years and I think to get a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 WindForce 3x OC Rev2 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card **Black PCB** £239.99 then get another for sli .

Good choice,

if you will be going SLI you may want to re-consider your CPU, the 6300 will bottleneck your 2 x 760's. Maybe a 8320 is a better choice, only £15 more too..

Make sure you get a 990X motherboard for the 8320 though. :)

See my writing above,

All i'd do is replace the 6350 with a 8320.

That RAM is expensive, get this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-097-PA&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1387

£14 saved. :)

What is your case?

Good choice,

Make sure you get a 990X motherboard for the 8320 though. :) I will be getting the FXA 990-UD5 so I will go for the 8320.

£14 saved. :)By the time my back dated money comes in it will only be £3 or £4 between then.

What is your case?
It is a ATX Icute with 3 case fans< I think it will do as I will be getting the mobo, Ram cpu and the water cooler first as they will all fit then when I can the next is a new case was thinking of a Cooler Master HAF X Gaming Tower Case - Black (RC-942) before I get the gpu for sli as I heard that with open cl the cpu does the psyic stuff so I might stay with ATI/AMD cards.

If you want a 760 get this one instead:

Instant £30 saved. :)

That case should be okay for now, but i would upgrade it when you can, the HAF X is a bit extreme but the case is a personal choice.

PhysX ran through open CL? No...

I'd stick with the 760.

I prefer Gigabyte for there rma and support.

Same here though £30 saving is tempting.. KFA2 make good cards but not sure about RMA, doubt its UK based.

Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 AMD 990FX (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 AMD 990FX (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard £141.98

This is a very nice board, but overkill for a 6300/6350 really. The £40 cheaper 990FX UD3 is fine for the 8320/8350.

I also like the look of the FXA 990-UD7 but I can not justify the price for that one even as it is fully loaded.

I will have to decide which one I will go for between the UD3 or UD5, for the money it looks like UD3 and a 8350 as I do not want to make the same mistake I maid the last time I bulid this computer over priced buying from a local store and go for the lowest price cpu just to have to upgrade for every 5th game. The local shop last week were trying to get me to buy a Athlon 2 X2 270 for the crazy price of £100 and on there website they are looking £145 for the FX bulldozer 4100 so I will only be buying my parts from here.:)

The HAF X is a bit extreme but I want one that can have the big radiators in the top. I will look in to cases when I get round to getting one, as a smaller one would be ideal.:)

I will be getting the 760 as far as the games I am looking at next, I have only seen one that is endorsed for ATI.

I hope this money is in sooner rather than later as the cpu and mobo are very close to dying.

The UD3 + 8320 is a nice low cost option that is still very decent.

With SLI/Crossfire, if you intend to play on two monitors, go with two AMD 7950s.

What is the difference between two 7950s and two 760s for three 1440p monitors which I am planning for at max resolutions apart Nvidia physics:confused:

With three 1440p monitors you might want to be looking at 2x7970s :)

You'll hit memory issues on that set up.

Exactly,

Multiple high res monitors eat up VRAM, I know 2GB to 3GB doesn't seem much but it'll make the difference.. on a setup with 3 x 1440p monitors i expect 2.5GB will be pulled pretty easy.
