FX 55 equivalent ??

yup i relize stupid q? jst im realy confused about what to get dual core or FX i mean is the FX 55 realy that fast ??? :confused:
 
yup i am a AMD fanboy to i got £330 to get new ram and CPU n i hav found a FX 55 4 £270 so im torn between both

I am mainly a Gamer so will the performance be better on a FX ? :confused:
