FX-60 939 socket

Got my hands on FX-60 socket 939 chip, how do these compare to the new core duo stuff. Also is this the fastest chip you can get for a 939 mobo now.

I did know when I had my 4600+ X2 that these where going for silly money (£600). I running a QX6700 quad core @ 3.2 now so I know it won’t even come close to that now. Just wanted to see if anyone running them 939 socket X2's anymore

They typically will do about 3GHz. It won't compete with pretty much any overclocked C2D chip once they've been overclocked up past 3GHz.

And yes it was the fastest dual core chip on S939 (the FX57 ran at 2.8GHz so for single threads was quicker).

basically its about as quick as a 6300/6400 at stock give or take a few frames or secs.
