FX-6300 appreciation

Although this CPU might be a bit worse off than it's ol' socket 1155 counterpart, I really really like this CPU, I can push very nice overclocks, render 3d and video just fine and snappy without a problem, it's stable and very happy to use all 6 cores.

Any other users had this type of experience when dealing with this particular cpu/lineup?

It shows that even if it's quite a low price point, it can still provide a fair bit of oomph to a system!

I have the same cpu and been very happy with it! How much you overclocking it by and what settings

I managed to push to 5Ghz stable with a vcore of 1.45v

Its not a bad little CPU, its very quick in multithreaded apps and less power hungry than its 8 core big brother.

A £100~ for a very capable CPU, its a steal.

I have the FX8150 and it is absolutely fantastic i have had no faults with it at all and it handles everything i throw at it
