I currently have this running at 4.3GHz at what I thought was stock voltage. The BIOS and Coretemp show a VID of 1.325v but HW monitor under full load shows 1.36v. In the past with other boards and CPUs, I'm used to seeing voltage dip under load if anything.
Board is Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3. I didn't change any voltage settings, all I changed was multiplier and turned off the boost speed under light loads. Do I need to explicitly set the voltage manually to 1.325v as it seems the board may be overvolting along with the overclock ? Or some other BIOS setting ? Or is this normal with the CPU.
EDIT: "System Voltage Control" is set to manual, becuase I had to alter the DRAM voltage, and CPU Voltage control is set to "Normal"
