I am currently having issues with my sounds, which i can only describe as a stutter/buzz like a sort of power surge.

I have replaced all sorts of parts, the only constant being the CPU and Memory.

I now have a feeling it could possible be something to do with the voltage settings for the CPU???.

I am at a loss now to be honest as i have tried all sorts.

The reason i have moved in the direction of the voltage settings, as the PC just crashed and wouldn't boot as it said something about the overclocking, but i have not over clocked this CPU.

Here is a read out from CPU-Z can anyone have a look at it please and let me know(and how in the bios) if i do need to tweak the voltages a little on the CPU and Ram.

Thanks for any help.

Yeh sorry doh.

I have an FX9590

asus crosshair v formula-z

Corsair Memory Vengeance Pro Series Blue 16GB DDR3 1866 MHz Dual Channel

Enermax EPM1500EGT Platimax 1500W Full Modular 80+ Platinum Power Supply

Samung EVO840 SSD 500 gig

Gigabyte GTX770 WINDFORCE 4GB Nvidia PCI-Express Graphics Card

Anything else??

CPU-Z Reads

cpu-z has the 4715.74mhz and core voltage at 1.428/1.440 it flucuates.

bus speed reads 200.67mhz

HT Link is 2608.70mhz.

Just started a stress test now and within sceonds the CPU temp shoots up towards 60c, surely something isn't right in the bios, but even if i load optimized settings and do a test the CPU temp gets to high.

Do i need to adjust fan speeds on the H100i via corsair link

Right i have just slotted a AMD FX-4350 4-Core Processor (125W, AM3+, 12MB Cache, 4300MHz)

Into the machine and running a stress test and everything is fine CPU temp is 38c and the test has been running a while now.

Does this mean there was/is something wrong with the CPU?? or it's settings in the bios??
