Btw the amd X2 4600 has only got 512KB level 2 cache per core the X2 4400 has 1MB level 2 cache per core and is less expensive

Won't matter, cache size never played a big part in AMD64 chips, difference is minimal, sort of like Conroe 2mb and 4mb chips.

When its cheaper and better from the overclock pov I think it matters

I would have liked the E6600 but I have the E6400 its not better but it is cheaper

I have an FX-57 and i'd certainly say the X2 4600+ is better than mine - certainly on paper!
