FX55 to ?

I have an FX55 Clawhammer, got it couple of months back impulse buy. Is there any point me going dual core or would i be better of waiting till Christmas and going AM2 ?
Gaming, net and ripping my cd's.

Had my eye on the X2 4400 for a while and the oem is looking good. What would performance be compared to the FX55 ?

Thanks, in what i use it would appear overall the clawhammer is better.

I may just up the multiplier to 14 and see what happens.
