FX8370 boot issues on Asus Sabertooth 990fx

This has been working for about 2 months but now there is no post beep and no display, swapping it with an X2 the system boots normally again.

The system did post once with the FX8370 in whilst I was trying to get it to go again, but hasn't since, that was maybe 10-20 attempts ago.

Clearing CMOS doesn't appear to have any effect either, removing RAM and turning it on also gets no post error beeps, but the CPU light on the motherboard does go out which indicated the board can see the CPU.

Any ideas?
 
Tried 2 different x2's both boot without issue so the 8370 is being RMA'd

No other motherboard available to try.
