Morning all,
Not getting the results id hope for with my fx9370.

I can only get to 4.6 ghz stable by clocking with the multiplier. Vcore is set to 1.5 (only actually 1.42 on prime) and max temp has been approx 45.
Load line calibration is set to auto. Tried it on ultra and just turns the system off when I tried to fire up prime 95

Any help is appreciated,

Cheers

Gigabyte's support for Piledriver has been mediocre at best. The UD3 has had lots of problems. If the board is new I would DSR it for an Asus, e.g. the 990FX Pro 2.0 or Sabertooth.

Installed sabretooth and its turbo'ing to 4.7 standard easilly. Shame that boards are released when not supporting fully

someone correct me if im wrong.

that MB only has one 8pin power connector. From my knowledge with high overclocks additional power is required.

although in the spec the MB supports this processor. i would say its probably boarderline capible of suppling enough power through the one 8pin connector.

higher end M/b's such as asus crosshair v formula-z have both 8pin + 4 pin cpu power supply to suppor higher end cpus and overclocks better.

i would consider a M/b upgrade to support that CPU better. thats just my opinion.
