Just for info...

A popular high street electronics retailer (Whose name rhymes with the world famous 19th century plumber and inventor) is now selling 35W and 45W CFL's

AT LAST we can now, once more, have decent light levels in the larger rooms common in older houses (That 150W and 200W light-bulbs once provided)

It has always ****ed me off that even the most powerful CFL's were only equivalent to 80-90 watts of conventional lighting.

It is as if the eco-tards don't just want us to "Save the planet" they want us to wear the bloody hair shirt too! Just to remind us of how much poorer "Right-on" living actually is!

Not being funny but if you've been waiting on higher wattage cfl's - they have been available for a long time.

Not on the high street they haven't!

It is almost as if there is some sort of bizarre green conspiracy to force us to get used to living sub-standard lives on the grounds that we aren't really saving the planet unless it hurts!
