So I'm back on the hunt for the perfect gaming monitor at the best price
This is after retuning the 226BW because the colors were terrible even after calibrating it! I realise that if i had used a hardware calibration tool that i might have been able to have corrected the issues found, but i honestly feel that if you spend £200 on a monitor, that should not have to spend a further £50 to correct something that should have been sorted out of the box.
The monitor that I'm considering at the moment is the Iiyama ProLite E2201W B1. I'm basing this decision off the back of this review.
Now, since there are hardly any B1's left, i thought that in buying the B2, that i would get a better panel, but then i found this very informative review which essentially scores the B2 as a lesser monitor than it's younger brother.
What do you guys think?
Note: I am aware that there is a CW version of the 226BW which guarantees a samsung panel, however, the first review trashes it so i will not be considering it at all.
