Does anyone know why if my 2 x 1GB PC4000 G.Skill kit (www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/G_Skill.html) can't run at T1 timings at 250MHz? I use the standard timings of 3-4-4-8, but as soon as I change from T2 to T1 I get blue screens and other errors. I've tried upping the voltage to 2.8V (from a standard 2.6) without success.

I've got a X2 3800+ that I run at 2.5GHz by setting the FSB to 250MHz, but I would also like the memory to run at this speed using T1.

Many thanks.

Well, I've confirmed that is an incompatibility between my Asus A8N-E and the Samsung UCCC memory the G.Skill uses. Problem is with the motherboard in other words as the memory can run fine at T1 on other boards. Not so impressed, Asus!

I had a similar problem with a kit of this stuff. It would only go up to 238.6mhz at 3-4-4-8 2T no matter how much i made adjustments. It would not even hit 250 at 1T or 2T. I checked the Spd using CPU-Z and it showed it as only being able to hit 250 @ 3-5-5-10, did'nt tell me the command rate though. Needless to say i sent this rubbish back and got a full refund.
I've got no probs running at 2T, just a shame about the 1T. Would still recommend G.Skill, maybe you just got a one-off faulty set...?
