im errr a bit confused... i have upgraded to the above from some cheap 2 x 512mb PC2700 mem sticks. I have an abit IC7-G mboard and running a P4 2.4c chip

What am i suppose to do or can do with the memory? I can overclock the P4 chip to 3gig fine, but how do i match it with the memory?

Stats pulled from OC site...

- Package : 2048MB kit (2x1GB) dual channel pack
- CAS Latency : 2-3-2-5 (PC3200)
- Test Voltage : 2.6 ~ 2.75 V
- PCB Board : 6 Layers PCB
- Speed : DDR 400 MHz (PC3200)
- Type : 184-pin DDR SDRAM
- Error Checking : Non-ECC
- Registered/Unbuffered : Unbuffered
- Quality Control : Comprehensive rigorously tested in pair at dual channel environment
- Warranty : Lifetime

anyone help?

thats what i dont have a clue about... i know that the divider should be at 5:4. I up my FSB for my CPU to 250 which gives 3gig, and my me should run at 200 but it crashes randomly.

Currently running at 3:2 ratio and it seems stable but might be forced to go back to standard, bah...

i don't understand why its not working, if the fsb is at 250 and at a 5:4 divider, then the memory is at 200mhz which is what its rated to do... hes knows his cpu can do 250 fsb because thats what he had before so why is this not working?

also with it being a intel chip should you not have gone for DDR2 ram? not sure if the old chips supported DDR2??

might need to slacken the timing off a bit - the ZX kit stock timings are 2-3-2-5 so this might be causing problems.
