I'm now looking to buy
Asus M2N32-SLi-DLX nForce 590 SLi (Socket AM2) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (MB-142-AS).
AMD Athlon 64 3800+ 2.4GHz (Socket AM2) - Retail (CP-165-AM).
G.Skill 2GB DDR2 LA PC2-5300 (2x1GB) CAS4 Dual Channel Kit (F2-5400PHU2-2GBLA) (MY-012-GS).

Will this memory be compatible if so stable too. ASUS website recommends CORSAIR memory but most of the guys here on overclock are recommending this memory. Any advice.

forget the AMD2 setup and get the Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 (btw I have a AMD 3800)

What motherboard do you recommend me getting as ive noticed a lot have gone for the INTEL BADAXE Motherboards. I cannot seem to find one.

Forgot the £99 CPU, get the £252 CPU?

I guess if I did that on everysingle part of my system when I bought it I'd have a very decent system... but it doesnt work like that.

The E6300 is about £150, a bit more but they are OCing to FX62 lvls...

but im just working within his budget. me personally would get the 6300 and overclock it but thats just me
