Will this newly released ram be any good? It seems very cheap as its only £120 so does anybody have any views on this purchase I may consider?

Here is the "specs" for it from OcUK (I have no idea what half this stuff means)

G.Skill 2GB DDR2 LA PC2-5300 (2x1GB) CAS4 Dual Channel Kit (F2-5400PHU2-2GBLA) (MY-012-GS)
G.Skill introduces their first DDR2-667 2GB matched pair and 1GB single module as LA series that are compatible with AMD/Intel platform. After launching LA series for value segment last week, G.Skill continuously works hard to announce the LA series for both great capacity and extreme performance. If you are looking for big size memory and great performance, G.Skill LA series is your best choice.

I tried it in an ASUS M2N32-SLi and it didn't work, however, from research I believe that this is more down to the m/board than the memory. It appears that the m/board is quite choosy!

It's certainly a bargain if it matches your m/board though.
