G.Skill 2gig pc4000 compatiblility

i have just built a new system with a sapphire pure crossfire advantage mobo and the RAM in the title, and from what i can see they arent compatible, because whenever i run a game i get a BSOD, but if i put the G.Skill ram in my old machine it works fine, and if i put my old pc3200 ram in the new machine it works. can anyone think why this could be and suggest another 2gig set that will definitely work.


any help is appreciated
 
well with the G.Skill in the sapphire mobo i cant get through half a single player game of BF2, but with the other combinations i get no problems.

heres the rest of the spec, in case its not the mobo that doesnt like it

Athlon 64 3700 with AC Freezer 64 Pro
Sapphire X800GTO2
Samsung Spinpoint 160
Hiper Type R 580

and of course the Sapphire PURE Crossfire Advantage and G.Skill HZ PC4000 2gig
