Are these sticks still a good buy? i remember a few months back they were the best for the money?

Very good for the money, the closest decent 4gb 6400 set is here http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...l Channel Vista Gold Series DDR2 (OCZ2G8004GK) and that is only £6 cheaper

Yes its very good, I have 8Gb of it at 2v and it doesn't struggle at all.

When it is noted that they come with a life time warranty has anyone needed to use that, apart from returning them to OC within the first year of purchase..?

I know OCZ doesn't.

Very good memory. I moved to this set from the HZ version, I just can't fault the G.Skill stuff.

I'm after some good memory to get my E6750 to 3.6, which will mean getting 450, will this memory do this with ease and why is it so cheap, when compared to PC2-8500, being more in line with PC2-6400.

As for why it is so cheap I'm not sure but it is priced around a fiver less than the OCZ sticks that I bought. My OCZ ones will run at 1000mhz @ 1.8v perfectly well with my FSB 1:1 at 500mhz.

I've been using this memory for about 9 months now without issue. Cost me £145 at the time as well.
