G-Skill - DDR5 6400 C32 XMP Issues

Hey Guys,

I am having trouble booting the XMP profile of the GSkill trident z5 memory at XMP 1 or 2.
The motherboard I have is on the QVL so not sure why it won't load.

I am on a 12900KF, Asus Strix Gaming WIFI Mobo

Did any of you have to mess around manual speeds to get this to boot?
I am on the latest August 2022 bios too.
 
Yes memory and mobo are on qvl list. I can set the voltages manually but not sure what settings to use

I had Kingston 4800 ram in before this GSkill and it just worked on XMP no faffing about. I’ll try that TH guide thank you
 
Jesus... so like an absolute egit I went off prior muscle memory and put the ram in slots 2/4 instead of what the mobo manual suggested.. 1/3..

Up and running now at full fat xmp - sorry for being so ultra slow :D
