G.Skill Neo vs RGB

I'm going to build a AMD Zen3 system (or a Ryzen 3600 based systems with a view to upgrading later) and wanted RGB but not if it is at the cost of performance.

Is the G.Skill RGB RAM less performant than the G.Skill Neo?

** Found this article after posting the question - seems the difference is minimal. Am I reading that right?

Which kits are you looking at?

Sorry for the slow reply - based on pcpartspicker

g.skill trident z rgb 16gb ddr4-3600 has CAS latency of 16 while
g.skill trident z neo 16gb ddr4-3600 has CAS latency of 14 (the first world latency is slightly lower too but i have no idea what that means and whether it is significant or not)

However, when i went to the g.skill site i noticed that the neo stuff is rgb anyway. No one seems to ahve the CL 14 memory referenced above in stock. They are all selling CL 16.
