G SKill NR PC2-6400

NOw most of you can call me stupid but I have searched through the forums to find something concrete regarding this ram and the ds3/4

I was looking at this weeks special and I was wondering if I can get the motherboard and ram that was on offer to work with the 6600.

I know that there seems to be a cas3 bug with the ram that can be fixed with a new bios.

However as I don't plan on getting a celeron to post in order to change the bios, can anyone tell me definitely whether or not this combo will post.

I know that the ds3 has a ceiling of 500mhz, which is more than enough for me. BUt I just want to be sure before i put down an order for the ds3/4 and ram.

over at xtremesystems, there is a G.skill rep which states that the NR is working fine

Stick with Corsair people, it's the most used round the world memory so every motherboard should be compatible with it.

if you have a look around there are some corsairs which aren;t compatibel as well...

the twin2048 cl5 version is incompatible due to its voltage requirements of 2.1
