g-skill out of stock - ballistix instead?

I wanted the g-skill pc6400 kit but OCUK have run out.

Would the 5300 ballistix run ok with an E6750 an on Gigabyte Matx board instead?

could get 4 gb of it for less than £140

8500 is stonking if you can pay the extra

mine runs at 1150 5-5-5-15 @ 2.0V Vdimm

at least 2 months for me - not one problem

just don't run them at too high voltage so they don't get too hot.

its not really a crucial problem there are failures across the board with high clocked Micron RAM

is it just the clocked sticks that fail though?
